Cameron Hall Practitioner Award
PURPOSE To recognize and honor a Florida College System student affairs practitioner who has consistently demonstrated the highest levels of humanitarianism throughout his or her career.
NOMINATIONS, SELECTION CRITERIA, AND AWARD PROCESS
A. Any currently employed full-time student affairs individual of a Florida College System institution may be nominated.
B. The nomination must include the following:
1. Name, phone number, e-mail, job title, institution’s address, and campus of the individual being nominated.
2. A brief statement listing all student development positions held (both current and previous). Include titles, institutions, and length of service.
3. An explanation of why you think this nominee is deserving of this award and examples of the contributions made demonstrating excellence in the following four areas:
a) Impact on students
b) Commitment to student success
c) Team player
d) Supporting the mission and philosophy of student affairs
C. The award recipient will be presented with a $300.00 check award from the Student Development Commission and a certificate at the annual Spring Conference Awards Luncheon to be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the College of Central Florida in Ocala, Florida.
